Key Responsibilities- Act as the main contact for people & HR related matters, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
- Support the implementation of people & culture strategies, working closely with the CEO and Directors to drive business success.
- Ensure effective and meaningful employee relations, with a focus on retention and employee satisfaction.
- Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, inductions, performance management, leave & absence, reward and exit processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, government & employment legislation, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage recruitment, including social media platforms and safer recruitment activities.
- Lead on performance management, including 1-1 quality and frequency, and conduct staff surveys to inform business decisions.
- Support the organisation and running of our Umbrella Colleague Academy, our internal training programme.
- Manage HR software, ensuring all employee files are up-to-date and compliant.
- Provide HR information, updates, and advice to the head office team and support the effective running of internal and external meetings.
- Proven experience in a Junior HR role and/or standalone HR position.
- Experience in recruitment and ER matters.
- Effective IT skills, and experience in managing recruitment and associated platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine and trusted relationships.
