Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect and support the health of individual patients/residents
  • Assess care and health education needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care, including discharge planning for each patient
  • Under supervision, gain experience and skills in clinical practice, facilitation, and teaching
  • Take charge of the ward/department/unit in the absence of senior nursing staff, following performance review
  • Adept a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet the needs of the service over a 24-hour period

Requirements:

  • A current NMC Pin number (Registered Mental Health Nurse)
  • A legal right to work in the UK
