Teaching Personnel is proud to collaborate with a friendly and inclusive primary school. We are currently in search of a devoted and empathetic Nurture Teaching Assistant to provide support to a Year 6 student with SEMH needs.

Role Overview:

As a Nurture Teaching Assistant, your role will be crucial in delivering personalized support to a child with SEMH requirements. Your duties will encompass:

  • Establishing a solid relationship with the child to nurture trust and support.
  • Applying nurturing techniques to enhance emotional health and social skills.
  • Assisting the child in engaging with the curriculum, modifying activities as needed to cater to their unique requirements.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure a comprehensive approach to the child's education and well-being.
  • Tracking and documenting the child's progress, providing necessary feedback to relevant parties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with children facing SEMH challenges is highly valued.
  • A patient and compassionate demeanor, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative spirit.
  • Relevant educational qualifications or training in child development are beneficial.
