This position offers an exciting opportunity for multiple Field Service Engineers to become part of an innovative company recognized globally for its expertise in the design, development, and production of electric vehicles, accompanied by a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility is to deliver aftersales support for a diverse range of vehicles at various locations and customer facilities. This includes servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and ensuring prompt resolutions for the entire fleet of electric vehicles. There may be occasions where support is needed across the service centre's coverage area and potentially in other regions as necessary.

Due to the specialized nature of the products, initial training will take place at the manufacturing facility, which may require temporary travel away from home.

This role may also involve occasional overnight stays, with reasonable notice provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all aspects of PSV maintenance, inspections, fault diagnostics, and repairs at customer locations and, if necessary, at the service centre. Utilize the latest technical documentation to ensure efficient and cost-effective repairs.
  • Communicate with customers, call centre, and parts personnel to report issues and order necessary parts to complete jobs promptly. Ensure all job write-ups and reports are clear and accurate, obtaining necessary approvals before leaving the site.
  • Submit completed job cards to the service centre for processing on the same day or as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Engage in product training as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining awareness of surroundings and local engineering standards.
  • Assist customers with servicing and repairs to enhance their understanding of the products.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid driving licence and PSV licence
  • Minimum City & Guilds level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent qualification
  • Strong electrical and computer diagnostic skills.
  • Competence in EV or Hybrid systems, including high voltage DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.
