The Associate Director of Global Investment will play a key role in driving value creation and delivering commitments to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our vibrant and rapidly growing team as a senior leader in global investment.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to manage our team and take responsibility for their output, development, and efficiency of work. The successful candidate will support our Global Investment Director with client relationships, deliver client commitments, and assist Directors in identifying opportunities to recommend the use of investment products across client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Manage a team of experienced media traders, auditors, and analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality work and the development of team members.
- Client Relationships: Support the Global Investment Director in building and maintaining strong relationships with senior global trading community, external media auditors, and clients.
- Client Commitments: Deliver client commitments and work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of client projects.
- Investment Opportunities: Assist Directors in identifying opportunities to recommend the use of investment products across client portfolios and create media strategies for optimizing client results.
- Relationship Building: Develop and leverage strong relationships with the senior global trading community, external media auditors, and clients to drive business growth and success.
- Global Pitches: Support the team on global pitches working with senior management and markets to deliver successful pitches and win new business.
- Best Practice: Identify best practice and assist and advise local markets on strategies to achieve buying commitments.
Requirements:
- Media Measurement Metrics: Strong understanding and interest in media measurement metrics, KPIs, and market pricing dynamics across all media.
- External Auditors: Strong working knowledge of external auditors' practice, methods, and methodology in at least one market (preferably multi-market).
- Enquiring Mind: Enquiring mind that wants to push boundaries and create new approaches.
- Team Management: Experience of supervising or managing team members.
- International Media Experience: International media experience ideal but not essential.
- Media Experience: Experience gained in either a local market agency buying team (any medium), at a media auditor, at a media vendor, or within an International Media Investment/Trading/Accountability team.
