Job Overview

At microTECH Global LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team. As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our photolithography process to ensure it remains at the forefront of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive process roadmap to ensure that our process capability and toolset stay aligned with industry advancements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team to tackle emerging challenges and maintain our position as a technology leader.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of a defined process tool set, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Direct technicians/operators to process R&D and manufacturing wafers to meet schedules, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop, modify, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance productivity, reduce scrap, and improve quality.
  • Setup and monitor statistical process control (SPC) charts to ensure process stability and predictability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create building blocks within process modules, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply various statistical methods to improve reproducibility and manufacturability through Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, and Gage R&R studies.
  • Document tool operation and process details, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Engineering/Process Development in a Fab environment.
  • Hands-on experience in photolithography processing, with a strong understanding of process equipment and associated metrology tools.
  • Track record of using structured problem-solving techniques to drive process improvements.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant subject, such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience of SPC processes, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
