Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage expert knowledge of marketing principles and best practices to set the strategic direction for multiple projects and programs across the organization.
  • Resolve complex administrative or operational matters and ensure effective achievement of marketing organization objectives.
  • Manage and oversee cross-functional teams and managers by meeting regularly with each team member to discuss business dynamics, develop plans to accelerate performance, and predict future outlooks.
  • Influence and direct cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all matters concerned with designated projects.
  • Acquire expert and adaptable knowledge on marketing strategy, marketing program guidance, and sales by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and expanding personal networks within and outside of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Marketing or related work experience.
  • 7+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
  • 5+ years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
