Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Operations to join our client, a leading national business in the water treatment sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly ambitious operations leader to take on a challenging role and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day workloads for teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Embed health, safety, and quality standards into daily operations.
  • Set high standards and support management audits and site assessments.
  • Develop and train resources to meet operations delivery standards.
  • Prioritize managers and teams to meet client requests and contractual obligations.
  • Identify and implement additional works and procedures to enhance work delivery.
  • Deliver to budgetary and operational targets set by Frameworks teams.
  • Link operational outputs and costs to optimize overall business performance.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and customers.
Requirements
  • Extensive senior operations management experience in the manufacturing and engineering sector.
  • Water treatment industry knowledge and experience is essential.
  • Background in engineering and HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical/electrical plant and control equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
