Financial Director Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our client, a growing manufacturing business based in the North West. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of completion of Management Accounts and the budget process
  • Manage the completion of Finance reports and balance sheet reconciliations for the business
  • Working to strict deadlines in completing cash flow reports and forecasting
  • Production of KPI reports for management
  • Managing a small team to meet key deadlines
  • Owning the costing process reviews and continual process improvement

Requirements

  • Ideally Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
  • Previous management experience in a finance-based role
  • Relevant accounting background in a growing SME environment is advantageous
  • Excellent communicator, to build great working relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong Commercial awareness with the ability to influence change
  • Strong attention to detail
