About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at Pro-Tax Recruitment. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing expert tax advice to our clients and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Tax Advisory Reports: Develop and deliver comprehensive tax advisory reports covering a wide range of tax-specific topics, including Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, Value Added Tax, and Inheritance Tax.
  • Calculate IHT Computations and Assist with EIS/SEIS Applications: Calculate Inheritance Tax computations and assist clients with Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) applications.
  • Lead Share Restructuring Projects and Implement Share Schemes: Lead share restructuring projects and implement share schemes to optimize clients' tax positions.
  • Develop Client Exit Strategies and Identify Tax Planning Opportunities: Develop exit strategies for clients and identify tax planning opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Communicate with Clients on Technical Tax Matters and Represent Them in Dealings with HMRC: Communicate with clients on technical tax matters and represent them in dealings with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
  • Manage HMRC Enquiries into Personal and Corporate Tax Returns: Manage HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide Support to Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop their tax skills and expertise.
