Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Consultant to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering health and safety audits, management systems support projects, and CDM projects. You will also develop and maintain partnerships with new and existing clients, and contribute to the growth and diversification of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver health and safety audits with scopes including legal compliance, management systems, or corporate agendas.
- Support the development and implementation of health and safety management systems.
- Work on CDM projects to support Principal Designer works, including Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plans, and site visits.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with new and existing clients.
- Contribute to the growth and diversification of our services.
- At least two years of experience in health and safety consultancy, regulatory work, or a professional EHS role.
- NEBOSH General Certificate and working towards NEBOSH Diploma.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and SHE best practice.
- Client-facing with strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
- Proficient report writing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Independent diary and time management skills.
- Valid UK driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to travel across the UK.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NVQ.
- Knowledgeable in CDM Regulations with experience as Principal Designer or equivalent.
- Qualifications and/or experience in Process Safety work (including DSEAR and process hazard analysis).
- Qualifications and/or experience in Machinery Safety (ISO 12100 risk assessment or PUWER).
- Environmental consultancy or environmental management experience.
- A degree in a safety, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics subject.
