Job Title: Fabricator/TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with TIG welding experience to join our production team at a well-established manufacturing company in Shefford.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium with varying thicknesses, as well as assisting in other manufacturing processes as required. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a positive attitude towards maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium with varying thicknesses (0.9mm to 5.0mm).
  • Assist in other manufacturing processes as required, with training provided.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Adhere to workshop health and safety practices at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Produce high-quality products that meet the company's standards and quality checks.
  • Meet production targets and deadlines to ensure customer demands are met.
Requirements:
  • Fabrication and TIG welding skills (essential).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a production environment.
  • A positive attitude towards maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
