MIG Welder Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to join our team at Gi Group Professionals. As a MIG Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for working within the heavy steel industry, welding using drawings, and working out angles and measurements. You will also be required to MIG weld and fabricate from scratch, working with mild and stainless steel, and using machinery such as grinders, press, and guillotine.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work within the heavy steel industry
  2. Weld using drawings
  3. Work out angles and measurements
  4. MIG weld and fabricate from scratch
  5. Work with mild and stainless steel
  6. Use of machinery including grinders, press, and guillotine
  7. Confidently check own work
Essential Skills:
  1. Time served Welder or Fabricator
  2. Able to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges
  3. Experience with stainless steel
Package:
Up to £15.50 per hour
Ample overtime paid at a premium
Permanent role
Day shifts - Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) Friday (Apply online only)
On-site parking
