Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Compass Point Recruitment. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for generating financial information and working closely with department heads to provide financial insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and reporting to group deadlines.
  2. Work closely with Plant and Departmental Managers to provide financial insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Maintain full balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
  4. Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
  5. Assist the Financial Manager in ensuring budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis are produced in a timely manner and are fit for purpose.
  6. Maintain the fixed asset register and capex reporting.
  7. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses.
  8. Contribute to Group financial process improvement and maintain controls integrity.
  9. Oversee stock control and provide operational support to ensure financial accuracy.
  10. Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations.

Requirements:

  1. ACCA or CIMA final level qualification minimum.
  2. Background in FMCG or manufacturing preferable.
  3. Advanced Excel skills.
