Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Compass Point Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business success through financial expertise and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts to senior management.
- Oversee the sales ledger function, ensuring accurate and timely management of sales orders and credit control.
- Collaborate with external auditors to prepare statutory accounts.
- Monitor income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgets and providing expert financial advice to improve business performance.
- Support the finance team with a range of accountancy tasks, including budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
- Provide strategic financial reports to senior management and communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with function managers to contextualise financial data and continuously evaluate and improve financial information systems.
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing a team and providing expert financial advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
