About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our Homecare team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering and developing safe and effective comprehensive homecare services, in line with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Homecare standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Champion homecare services and provide training to a range of staff, as the service requires.
  • Opportunity to attend London homecare medicines consortium meetings, building working relations within this network and homecare providers.
  • Working collaboratively and support commissioning processes for high cost drugs.
  • Work alongside senior colleagues, clinicians, nurse specialists and homecare team, developing new skills at an operational level, supported by senior pharmacists.
  • Jointly working as a clinical pharmacist, you will provide a regular ward clinical pharmacy service as part of the multidisciplinary team, through effective medicines optimisation.

Person Specification
  • Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification).
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist in the UK (MRPharmS).
