Job Title: Technical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to join our team at Build A Rocket Boy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the technical ownership, decision-making, and execution of strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and design technical solutions that meet the project's needs.
  • Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and strategies to drive innovation and growth.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in game development, with a strong background in engineering and leadership.
  • Proven track record of shipping multiple AAA titles, with experience in engine development and live operations.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in C++ and experience with graphics, physics, and animation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
