Early Years Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete a Level 3 Early Years Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship at Duchess Nursery in Abingdon.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the care and supervision of pre-school children, adhering to the Policies & Procedures of Duchess and Chatsworth Schools, and ensuring compliance with the Children Act 2006, Health and Safety Legislation, and Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working together as part of a team for the good of the nursery and the children.
- Responsible for the care and supervision of pre-school key children, including keeping daily journals, observations, and development records.
- Planning and preparation of activities to meet children's individual needs.
- Utilizing play and interactive activities to develop language and vocabulary, introduce scientific and mathematical concepts, and improve social skills.
- Combining play and interactive activities with an increasing focus on early academic learning, including letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and an awareness of science and nature.
- Planning, developing, and implementation of the daily work schedule and lesson plans in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Liaising with parents to ensure effective communication within the nursery in a professional and clear manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification.
- GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills.
- A clear DBS.
We offer:
- Training.
- A £250.00 starter bonus and another £250.00 and again at 3 months.
- A 6 months bonus of £750.00 gained within 6 months of employment.
