We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Controller to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a Logistics Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the warehouse team to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Experience of operating in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Export control.
  • Experience in handling dangerous goods.
  • Computer literate with experience of using ERP systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of warehouse methods, principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of current Environmental legislation.
  • Ability to react swiftly as situations change and/or develop.
  • Effective communicator both written and orally.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
