We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Line Coordinator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a Line Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, working closely with line operatives to improve performance and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with line operatives to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
- Assist in the management and improvement of line performance, focusing on effective solutions and deputizing for operatives during breaks or absences.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications, identifying and addressing any quality control issues.
- Responsible for completing relevant documentation and sign-off for readings and actions taken.
- Work with the Area Process Leader to improve line efficiencies through interpretation of production plans and knowledge of product, equipment, planning, and manning.
- Assist in training operatives as needed, sharing skills and knowledge to enhance team performance.
- Embrace new skills and activities to improve business performance, such as TPM, PPM, Asset Care, and Workplace Organisation.
- Ensure escalation procedures are followed and interact with customers during factory visits.
- Experience managing a team and operating manufacturing machinery.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturer environment.
- Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Food Safety Level 3 and Health & Safety Level 3 (training can be provided).
