Job Title: Landfill Gas Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Landfill Gas Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of remedial and maintenance operations at Gas fields throughout the North of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Auditing: Monitor, measure and audit existing Gas fields to identify any faults or areas for improvement.
  • Remediation and Maintenance: Remediate and improve Gas fields in accordance with senior management instruction, ensuring all works meet design specification.
  • Fault Finding and Repair: Fault find, maintain and repair Gas collection systems, including preparation and performance of accurate pumping trials and audits.
  • Quality Assurance: Use appropriate drawings, scope of works and CQA information to complete maintenance works, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
  • Travel and Logistics: Travel throughout the UK (predominantly North of North Wales/Lincoln) to undertake site visits and maintenance works.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the operation of Landfill Gas Generation/Control schemes is essential.
  • Construction Quality Assurance: Experience with Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) is highly desirable.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A 360 and/or backhoe license would be advantageous, as well as AutoCAD experience.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer software and systems is required.
  • Transportation: A full UK driving license is necessary for this role.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum.
  • Working Hours: 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime: Overtime available (up to 8 hours a week at time and a half).
