Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Classroom Supervisor for a school in the Mid-Dorset area. This role involves overseeing classes of students aged 9 to 13 years, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities.
  • Support students in their learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behavior and engagement among students.

Requirements:

  • A strong team player with a passion for working with young individuals.
  • Ability to facilitate high-quality learning experiences.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative in various situations.

Contract Details:

  • Position: Classroom Supervisor
  • Type of Work: Cover for KS2/KS3
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP 110 per day
  • Working Hours: 8:20 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Good level of education.
  • At least one year of experience working with children or young people in the UK.
  • Current Safeguarding training completed within the last year.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Two professional references related to child care covering the last two years.
