Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-centric Operations Coordinator to effectively manage scheduling for our Water Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery across various customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate a variety of customer projects in alignment with our scheduling framework, providing support to Engineering Supervisors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer site teams nationwide, organizing site visit appointments for Engineers throughout the service delivery process.
- Utilize our internal Opuz database to execute tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Revise and update client process documentation for designated contracts.
- Identify and resolve issues, offering effective solutions for client accounts.
- Handle customer inquiries, fostering collaboration with internal teams to ensure professional service delivery.
- Gather and analyze data for KPI reporting, assisting the Operations Coordinator Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating or scheduling resources within a field service environment.
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills in English.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Suite.
- Familiarity with bespoke software systems is advantageous.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Wales & South West regions.
Additional Information:
All positions at SMS require a DBS check, with costs covered by SMS Environmental for candidates without a valid certificate.
