About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Installation Specialist to join our team at Streamline Search Ltd. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for leading the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring that designs are implemented effectively and accurately on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation of mechanical systems: Collaborate closely with project managers to monitor and oversee mechanical installations, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary projects: Focus on the mechanical side, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical components.
  • Supervise installation teams: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits: Attend meetings, inspect project progress, and ensure successful implementation of mechanical installations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders: Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience: Mechanical engineering with a focus on installation, particularly within building services or mechanical contracting.
  • Strong background: Managing full mechanical building services packages, from HVAC systems to plumbing and beyond.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills: Ability to work closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Travel requirements: Willingness to travel internationally as required for project meetings and site visits.
  • Software proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Industry knowledge: Thorough knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations related to mechanical installations.
  • Technical skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
