About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team at Daikin Applied. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to drive business process improvement and system implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business customers and technical resources, establishing awareness of business process and technology solution best practices.
  • Analyze complex manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop and implement business solutions, including project planning, requirements gathering, and testing.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with manufacturing organization applications, conducting root cause analysis and aligning resources to correct issues.
  • Develop and document solution design alternatives, leading a group through the collaborative process of finalizing recommendations and documenting rationale.
  • Define project requirements to gain business support, funding, and resources.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional business projects, estimating high-level project timelines, resource needs, and funding needs.
  • Communicate functional requirements and specifications to developer teams.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, IT Business analysis, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
