Student Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Student Training Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant Waterfront Restaurant and Coffee Shop. As the Student Training Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager, you will inspire and lead students in our training restaurant, helping them acquire new and current hospitality skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant and coffee shop, ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
- Oversee budgets, drive sales, and manage marketing and social media promotions.
- Collaborate with the college marketing team and external stakeholders to plan and deliver exceptional events and student work experiences.
- Facilitate training and teaching, preparing students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

About You
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, minimum Level 2 Maths and English, and a Food Safety Qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry, with front-of-house experience and a strong understanding of current industry trends.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills, proficiency in social media promotion, and a commitment to customer-focused, student-centred learning.
- A caring and professional manner, well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
