About the Role

At Synergetic, we're seeking a seasoned Product Owner to lead our product delivery team and shape the future of our digital products.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and innovative professional to partner with our internal and external stakeholders to assess needs and prioritize the product backlog based on business value or ROI, aligning it with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Roadmap Development: Lead the product roadmap, identifying growth opportunities and implementing them effectively.
  • Backlog Management: Define and refine backlog items (including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria) to guide our Agile development team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the client's perspective, providing clear vision and direction to teams and stakeholders throughout projects.
  • Product Scope Management: Manage product scope, document changes, and mitigate obstacles to ensure successful completion of release and sprint goals.
  • Agile Methodology: Set sprint goals, and plan for releases, iterations, and updates.
  • Customer Experience: Understand end-to-end customer experiences and dependencies, acting as the product's ambassador and main point of contact.
  • Team Representation: Represent our team in front of stakeholders, clients, or users.
  • Methodology Refining: Stay updated with Agile/Scrum best practices and refine our agile methodology based on feedback and results.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record as a Product Owner of complex digital products in an Agile environment, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Methodology Expertise: Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Prioritization Skills: Ability to prioritise features effectively using a range of tools.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative and strategic thinker with a clear vision for digital product development.
  • Analytics Skills: Skilled in using analytics tools to track user value and team performance.
  • Project Management: Practical experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban) and waterfall project management techniques.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Workflow Management: Proficiency in workflow management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
