Finance Manager

Robert Walters is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to take ownership of the company's financial processes, provide strategic financial guidance, and contribute to the business's overall growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a finance management role within an SME environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
