We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Corporate Banking efforts in the healthcare sector. As a Corporate Banking Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients within this sector, driving growth and enhancing our local presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business strategy to acquire and retain healthcare corporate banking customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key market professionals and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative network across Buckden Partners.
  • Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet proposition, pricing, risk policy, and reporting requirements, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute a business plan addressing internal risk, market conditions, and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with Buckden Partners' overall strategy.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proven leadership and relationship management skills, with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent credit underwriting abilities, with a track record of lending to large SMEs and mid-corporates.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management, with experience in developing and executing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Success in building and expanding banking relationships, with a strong network of contacts within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior/executive management, driving business growth and profitability.
