Role Overview

As the Manager of Innovation and Showcase Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration with clients and orchestrating impactful Thought Leadership events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate customer engagement and develop high-profile events that position the company as a thought leader.
  • Oversee marketing communications, public relations, and visibility strategies for proactive customer interactions.
  • Identify and source innovative demonstrations for showcases, collaborating with suppliers to present cutting-edge technologies to clients.
  • Design and develop bespoke showcase demonstrations through coding and programming to illustrate unique concepts.
  • Provide technical support for demonstrations and infrastructure within showcases, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Enhance and maintain the infrastructure that supports showcase events.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct commercial analyses of technical and innovative advancements within specific market segments or customer demographics.
  • Manage multiple projects, delivering comprehensive business assessments of opportunities against technical evaluations to uncover innovation prospects.
  • Build and nurture effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, sharing technical expertise and collaborating to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Technical Domain Knowledge: Extensive understanding of technical subjects, particularly in computing education.

Experience Expectations

  • Demonstrated breadth of technical knowledge and expertise in computing education (mandatory).
  • Proven track record of delivering significant business impact through projects or partnerships (mandatory).
  • Experience managing a matrix team to successfully complete projects (mandatory).
  • Evidence of effective stakeholder management across various levels within the organization (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to identify and implement innovative solutions (mandatory).
  • Strong commercial acumen and business skills, with experience in technical or intellectual property management (mandatory).
  • Experience in PR and marketing to enhance internal engagement and external visibility (preferred).
