Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Employee Relations Advisor to join our team on an interim basis. This is a 6-month contract based in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations cases, providing advice and support to HR Business Partners and People Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and advise managers on employee relations issues, including absence management, performance management, and grievances.
  2. Manage appeals and investigations, documenting all necessary information.
  3. Provide guidance on HR policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including in-house legal advisors.
  5. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in financial services or a regulated industry.
  2. Proven track record of managing employee relations cases and providing advice to managers.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
