Job Title: Band 6 Therapy Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Therapy Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiotherapy department.

About the Role

As a Band 6 Therapy Radiographer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Radiotherapy management team in achieving departmental objectives
  • Working closely with the Superintendent Radiographers, Oncologists, Physicists, and other members of the MDT
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on radiation therapy techniques and equipment
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supervising a team of Radiographers
  • Coordinating and delivering radiation therapy treatments
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient use of radiation therapy equipment
  • Providing excellent patient care and communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • DCR(T) / BSc in Radiotherapy and registration with the HPC
  • Evidence of CPD/ further study
  • Experience at Band 6 Radiographer level
  • Evidence of some experience at supervisory level
