Job Summary:

Creative Support is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to lead our team in providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Respectful Support: Offer respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximize service user outcomes and ensure their needs are met.
  • Implement Support Principles: Implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the service meets CQC requirements and provides high-quality care.
  • Supervise and Support Staff: Supervise and support staff to best meet service user needs and preferences, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Empower Service Users: Support service users to have the opportunity for a full and happy life, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Essential experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Driving Licence: A clean, valid driving licence and access to a car are desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends.
