Position Overview

We are seeking an Events Operations Manager at Bailbrook House Hotel, a prestigious luxury country house hotel located in a historic city. This role is pivotal in managing the events team and overseeing all aspects of event execution, from initial setup to final breakdown.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the events team, ensuring seamless execution of all events.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences that inspire repeat visits.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Engage with clients, wedding couples, and suppliers, fostering positive relationships.
  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling costs to achieve profit targets.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients to ensure departmental success.
  • Foster a positive team culture, encouraging development and collaboration.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in a management role within events operations, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Operational expertise in managing weddings, events, and conferences of varying scales.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and the ability to provide pairing recommendations.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • A passion for creating memorable events that delight guests.
  • Professional, organized, and approachable, with a keen ability to anticipate guest needs.
