As a Support Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your role will involve working closely with a diverse group of individuals, each presenting their own distinct abilities and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and provide emotional support.
- Foster meaningful relationships through excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic approach towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Part-time: Flexible hours based on availability
Shift Patterns:
Our services operate 24 hours a day, and we prepare rotas at least four weeks in advance, allowing you to manage your personal and social commitments effectively.
- Day shifts: Between 07:00 and 22:00
Additionally, there is an opportunity for sleep-in shifts, which offer an enhanced flat rate payment.
Requirements:
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
- This position is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, and is open to female applicants only.
