Job Overview

Evoke Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at an established educational facility in Wiltshire. As a key member of our estates team, you will be responsible for the overall site services, including the allocation, inspection, and monitoring of contracted building and remedial works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct external building contractors to ensure timely completion of works within budget and with minimal disruption to the school and wider business.
  • Ensure the school and premise site security systems remain in excellent working order on a 24/7 operation.
  • Assure strict Health and Safety Regulations, including Fire and Evacuation, Asbestos and Legionella checks, Security System Testing, assessment and investigation, site access routes, and site vehicle checks.
  • Arrange internal decoration and site repair works, obtaining the best price versus budget allowances and ensuring timescales match those of the school.
  • Provide reports and improvement logs detailing all works and possible concerns to the Regional Estates Manager.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Health and Safety Site experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability and willingness to undertake physical lifting, stretching, and bending, as well as light internal maintenance and remedial work to fixtures and fittings.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in adverse weather conditions and dress accordingly. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with an excellent annual salary of £36,000 plus a range of highly attractive employee benefits.
