We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd in Glasgow. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Advisors and partners in delivering high-quality advice to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of financial services products and a proven track record of preparing written advice and providing technical research services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare written advice and provide technical research services to support the delivery of high-quality advice to clients.
- Ensure that all advice is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner.
- Participate in team meetings, highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution.
- Assist with new business initiatives and contribute to the ongoing progression of the team and company.
- Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the team's performance and the company's overall success.
Requirements:
- Diploma level (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Full paraplanning experience, preferably in a fee-based environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial services products, including discretionary management, cash flow modeling, and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to draft high-quality client advice.
- Ability to attend client meetings and provide effective support to Advisors and partners.
