Position Overview

As a Lead Care Coordinator at Dovehaven Care Homes, you will oversee the care team within the facility, ensuring that all care staff comply with CQC regulations while delivering outstanding care to our residents. Your role will involve fostering high standards of care and mentoring less experienced team members to enhance their contributions to the overall care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the care team to ensure compliance with care standards.
  • Promote exceptional levels of care for residents.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff members.
  • Maintain effective communication with all team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in an elderly care environment.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and well-organized.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Reliable and able to perform well under pressure, with flexibility to meet the home's needs.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a care or nursing home setting, particularly with elderly individuals.
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is essential, along with a genuine commitment to providing outstanding care.
