Accountancy Team Manager

Grassroots Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Team Leader to join their innovative and forward-thinking Accountancy and payroll provider. As a key member of the accountancy department, you will be responsible for managing a team of ambitious accountants and accounts assistants, providing exceptional client service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 5 accountants/accounts assistants, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Prepare financial statements, personal tax returns, and other financial documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end contractor accounting process, from invoicing to payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
- Provide tax-saving advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible service.
- Prepare statutory year-end accounts within three months of company year ends, ensuring timely submission.
- Prepare PAYE/NI returns, issuing to directors and ensuring on-time submission.
- Corporation tax computation, timely payment, and CT600 filings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external service providers, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Identify potential risks and propose strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- A minimum of 34 days holiday (rising with service), including your birthday off.
