As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships within our driving and transport division. Your primary responsibility will be to understand our clients' needs, strategize solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of our recruitment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as a point of contact for their requirements, concerns, and escalations.
  • Client Needs Analysis: Understand client objectives, work with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for account expansion and the up-selling of additional services.
  • Account Planning: Develop account plans, outlining strategic goals and objectives, and make calls to connect with contacts and generate new business leads.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Interview jobseekers to continuously enhance our database of candidates, identify matches between jobs and potential candidates, and screen and shortlist candidates for their recruiting clients or their own organization.
  • Recruitment Software: Operate our bespoke recruitment software, manage job applications, and job boards and adverts on local and national websites to generate applicant attraction.

To be successful in this recruitment role, you will have proven previous experience in a recruitment profession, preferably with a background in driving/logistics. You will also require:

  • Experience in both temporary and permanent placements.
  • A strong understanding of recruitment and client needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload.

Please note that candidates must be flexible to work variable hours due to key client requirements, including early morning starts, and evening client emergency cover when required. Therefore, you must have a full UK driving license.
