Project Director Opportunity

Fourblue is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major £100M+ desalination Plant project in the South West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring project completion within deadlines and budget, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety and quality in all project stages.
  • Implement and monitor the Business Management System (BMS) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers to drive project success.
  • Ensure sufficient trained personnel and clear responsibilities to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Plan, approve, and monitor project execution and delivery to meet client expectations.
  • Manage commercial and contractual aspects effectively to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Support customer requirements and satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary construction projects, ideally in the water industry.
  • Degree in construction, commercial, or engineering.
  • Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills to drive project success.
  • Knowledge of NEC and IChemE contracts to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Experience in Risk & Opportunity Management and construction Health & Safety (CDM) to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.

What We Offer:
