Job Description

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking an exceptional Financial Accounts Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Month-End Process Management: Oversee the month-end process for the group, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • VAT and Plastic Tax Returns: Prepare and submit VAT and Plastic Tax returns, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • CAPEX Invoicing and Reporting: Process CAPEX invoices and generate reports, providing insights into capital expenditures.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Support intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • KPI Reporting: Assist in generating Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, providing valuable insights into business performance.
  • Treasury Tasks: Perform treasury tasks, including cash management and forecasting.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Reconcile balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • One Bill Processing: Process one bill payments, maintaining efficient and timely payment processes.
  • Group Costs Variance Analysis: Analyze group costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 Years' Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting role, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Excellent IT Skills: Demonstrate excellent IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software and systems.
  • Keen Desire to Progress: Show a keen desire to progress and develop within the company.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a degree in a relevant field (2:1 or above) or be progressing through AAT qualifications.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Show excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Possess the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions.
