Accounts Payable Assistant

Refresco Drinks UK Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all invoices received and arrange payment within agreed terms and conditions.
  • Work with the AP Manager to ensure all work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Register all invoices on receipt to ensure the appropriate period is charged with the relevant expense.
  • Gain appropriate authorisation in line with the amount and type of expense, for arranging payment of each invoice.
  • Matching supplier invoices with purchase orders.
  • Resolving supplier queries.
  • Reconciliation of allocated supplier statements, and to take the appropriate action ensuring the ledger represents a true and fair position in relation to each company.
  • Assist in accurately making payment to suppliers of goods and services, in line with the agreed terms.
About You:

We are looking for previous experience of working in Accounts Administration and demonstrable experience of managing all aspects of accounts payable / purchasing ledger tasks. Good practical knowledge of working with Finance systems, as well as SAP/IREN and Microsoft Packages.
