The MWek Company is seeking a skilled Back End Python Engineer to enhance our trading systems. This role involves developing and maintaining the core code that facilitates our market operations, including the deployment of models and order execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trading systems under the guidance of a Senior Developer.
  • Interface with various cryptocurrency exchanges for trade execution and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate across departments to support research and data processing tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience with Python 3.
  • Familiarity with high-performance libraries, particularly Numpy.
  • Experience with JIT compilers such as Numba.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in code management and testing.
  • Proficient in interfacing with APIs and Websockets.
  • Experience in a Linux environment.
  • Problem-solving skills across diverse tasks.
  • Experience in deploying applications in live environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with databases, especially SQL.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages, particularly lower-level languages like C++.

Compensation: Competitive salary up to £60K.
