About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our Special Schools team in Hounslow. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical care and support to children with learning disabilities and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective clinical care to children with learning disabilities and complex care needs
  • Support the school nurse with training needs and clinical care in a school environment
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with patients, colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Adapt to change in the working environment and respond to and prioritize children's care needs
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy
  • Health Care Certificate or willingness to undertake Health Care Certificate
  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Awareness of child/adult safeguarding
  • Able to demonstrate awareness of confidentiality/data protection
