Inventory Controller Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team in Coventry. As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our stock levels, ensuring accurate records, and processing returns in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including transfers and cycle counts.
  • Process and dispatch returns efficiently.
  • Liaise with third-party hauliers and customers.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
  • Develop and implement improvements to operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of stock management and logistics processes.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, ideally with knowledge of Excel and SAP.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proactive approach to investigating discrepancies.
