About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Fire Engineer to join our team at Brandon James. As a key member of our Fire Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our division and delivering projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the growth of the team across the UK, working closely with our surveyors, assessors, and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  2. Liaise with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide expert advice on fire engineering design, code compliance, and fire strategies.
  3. Assist with the delivery of projects to clients in the public and private sectors, ensuring that all fire safety requirements are met.
  4. Develop and maintain fire engineering designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  5. Conduct fire hazard identification and risk assessments to ensure the safety of clients and their occupants.
  6. Maintain and build relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  7. Liaise with surveyors, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements

  1. Relevant degree or Masters in Fire Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in fire engineering, with a strong understanding of fire safety principles and practices.
  3. Chartership with the Institute of Fire Engineers (AIFireE) is highly desirable.
