Hourly Rate:
£13.00 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Role Overview

As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with our culinary team to create delicious and nutritious meals that support the well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes align with company standards and client expectations.
- Assisting in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients.
- Managing stock control and ordering to maintain inventory levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborating with the catering team to execute special events and themed dinners.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Staying informed on industry trends and culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings.
- Fostering a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a similar role within a contract catering environment or educational institution is preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A fun and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
