We are a dynamic organization with a strong mission to protect Nottinghamshire's wildlife, restore biodiversity, and inspire people to act for nature and climate. Our subsidiaries, East Midlands Environmental Consultants and Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust Trading Limited, provide a range of services including ecology, biodiversity, project management, and land management.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chair to lead our Board of Trustees and drive our strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and governance skills, a proven track record of organizational management and leadership, and a solid understanding of good governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Board of Trustees
- Champion inclusive policies and practices
- Guide the Board in fulfilling their fiduciary duties and responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to achieve our mission and objectives
Requirements:
- Exceptional leadership and governance skills
- Proven track record of organizational management and leadership
