EHS and Sustainability Professional

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd is seeking a highly skilled EHS and Sustainability Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability across the company's UK site.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Develop the EHS Team: Oversee all EHS activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Implement EHS Systems: Develop and manage environmental initiatives to achieve sustainability targets and improve environmental performance.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and Investigations: Facilitate comprehensive investigations and root cause analyses (RCA) for accidents, incidents, and environmental events.
- Develop and Deliver EHS Training Programs: Create and implement training programs for all employees, contractors, and customers.
- Manage Documentation and Compliance: Maintain Risk Assessments, PUWER, COSHH registers, and other critical documentation, adhering to CDM regulations (CDM 2015).
- Build Relationships and Monitor Performance: Establish and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, including SMT, Group Sustainability, Environment Agency, Health & Safety Executive, and Insurance Partners.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in an EHS management role, ideally within a manufacturing or relevant industry.
- Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, Environmental Management, and Sustainability practices.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated Success: Demonstrated success in managing EHS systems, leading initiatives, and achieving compliance goals.
- Experience with Budget Management: Experience with budget management and resource allocation for EHS activities.
